-The Month of July-

There wont be an Member of the Month for the month of July. At possibility there will be a last minute Member of the Month chosen by me without a vote. The Site recession has lasted since March and I hope it will subside soon.

Also Don't forget about the Summer Contest It ends at the end of August. and August is well on its way here!

-The Month of August-

As I said Before the Summer Contest will end at the end of August.

August's Theme Will be Storm [ei: Thunder Storm, Tornado, Hurricane... etc]

-The Month of September-

*This September The Theme will most likely be back to school, if I can't create a good enough skin it will be something else. If you have any suggestions for Themes please don't hesitate to run it by me.

*Also the Summer contest is coming to a close. August 30th is the last possible day to get any entries in!

*The Role Play section is hidden however if any would like it open I will be happy to open it for you.

*We haven't as many members as we used to have. If any bring members and those members become active they will be rewarded with coins to buy things in the shop, stars, caramels or what ever.

*If there are topics that you would like to talk about but don't know where to put them, I'd be happy to create a board for you!

*If any suggestions happen to cross your mind for this site please be sure to tell me ASAP!

The Month of October

Well October is over and Halloween is finished. Things have been slow but will hopefully speed up with the on coming Month of November.

The MOTM for October is Seth. Congratulations!

If you have some suggestions for anything pertaining to the site or question feel free to let us know.

There will be a Thanksgiving/Fall contest here

There is also a posting contest here

Things have been slow but we're hoping to bump up the activity here. this is a general chat forum so feel free to join the conversations or make some.

Also for old members and new, the end of the year awards take place in December! if you would like to take part in the awards please notify Metoria or Milla.

The awards consist of all sorts of things. There's the Gaming award, Role playing award, chat award, debate award, Member of the year, and many more if you would like to see one please feel free to let us know! The more the merrier!

-The Month of December-

December is Theme World's Anniversary Month We hope to have a big role play that anyone can join in we'll also have our awards ceremony thing. and MOTY (Member of the year)

However the theme for December is yet undetermined... if you have any suggestions please notify me ASAP. or even for other month themes.

Also in honor of Theme World's Third year of existence I will reopen the Theme World board game.

the rules are very simple. Find the Star and pm me to be given a new star to your profile collection and whoever has collected the most by the end of the month will be names the Winner. every month is a new game.

I will post a star with a link to my profile where you will pm me the link of the thread that you found the star and you will be given a star. You must post after the star in order to keep the game going otherwise two people will get the same star and that can't happen.

If you have any questions let me know. I will open the game on the update for December.

The Theme World Board Game has begun. If you find the Millennium Star that is hidden among the threads and boards of Theme World then you win a star. If you collect the most stars you win the game for the moth and win the title of the Millennium Star for the month. Kind of like an MOTM thing. If you have questions about this Board Event you can either look at the Rules and Information or you can ask Metoria [username: admin].

The Award Ceremony will take place near the middle to end of the month. All Active members will be awarded for something they do best!

Some may be promoted. for having been around and active for so long.

December Update Cont.

At the present time Theme World is going under some new construction. Categories are being rearranged and old threads are being moved. We encourage everyone to create new threads so that we all have new topics to chat about.

Metoria and Co-Admin Jade, have been talking about making Theme World 1/3 of a writing site, if this is so stagnant chat board will be removed, which some already have been, and new writing boards will be put up in there place.

If any member has a board they'd like to see please contact Metoria and or Jade and we will see what we can do.

-January Updates-

Well We are going into a new year. 2009!

I hope everyone has made a New Years Resolution.

The MOTM for December is Jade Aldrin.
Also Seth will gain a ranking into Apprentice.

Jade is also the Millenium Star for having found the most stars this month.

A new star will be posted for January and a new game will begin.

Jade won the Posting contest as well. The final scores were as follows:
Jade= 247

Milla = 6

There is another Posting Contest for January Try to post your number of posts ASAP

Congratulations to both of you for your winnings.

The Theme for January is Lumber Jack. The skins and colors are still under construction.

-Events of the New Year-

I've come up with some new contests and events.

New Contests:

1.) Best Topic Contest

Whoever comes up with a good topic that is well posted in (with relevant posts) Wins

2.) Best Banner Contest

Whoever creates an original Banner for Theme World will be responsible for a new skin for Theme World.

3.) Exalting Contest

Whoever exalts other members the most will in turn gain those points to their profile as well.

4.) Quote Contest

Come up with n original quote of your own and post it in specific categories to win.

5.) Recipe Contest

Come up with a recipe following the guidelines.

6.) Costume Contest

This will be around the Halloween season where you will show off your costumes.

7.) Fashion Contest

Rummage through your closet and create your own fashion, mismatching your outfits.

8.) Room Contest

Under specific categories such as.. cleanest, messiest, themeiest, coolest, biggest.. etc. place a picture of your room and place it in the specific category.

9.) Best Contest Contest

Come up with a good contest that Theme World can use.

10.) Best Prize Contest

Come up with cool prizes that you and other members can win in other contests.

11.) Collection Contest

Show us your collections. They could win the weirdest, coolest, biggest, etc... collection.

12.) Theme Contest

Come up with a Theme for Theme World to use.

Events:

Theme World Academy/Oscar Awards

In this event we will nominate members and threads/boards to be voted in specific categories, such as funniest, weirdest, randomest, coolest, most dramatic... etc.

The Members will be the actors and the threads/movies will be the movies that will win the awards.

I know some of these... a lot of these are pretty random... I came up with them by staring at random object around my house. XD

I need your feedback about them. Please pm me back about these new events or any suggestions/questions you may have. I NEED your feedback if I'm to make plenty new contests and events for us to participate in and have fun.

So the Summer begins, I hope Everyone is having a good one so far and I hope you all have a fun and safe summer.

Down to business.

More contests will be arranged. Suggestions for contests and events are always welcome. More active threads and members wanted. rewards will be given. Whether is be a new title similar to MOTM, such as Valued Member or something like that. Remember that new members, topics, feedback and activity are what goes into it.

Remember to share your thoughts and events in your life we are interested!

It could also help keep the site activity at a high.

The Theme World Oscar Award mentioned above will start at the beginning of November.

~Summer 2009 Cont.~

Well... The subject says it all. The Fall is coming and Summer is going.. it went by rather quickly. if you ask me.

Now I had to break down and make Maximum Pain (Milla) The MOTM. She's done so much for the site I don't think its fair that she can't be an MOTM. So now anyone can be MOTM... well excluding me seeing as how I decide

but other than me anyone can be MOTM even Harvey.

Also The winner of the Posting contest was ... me... It was a surprise! Maybe it's because Zarathustra didn't take part in it... Although Milla er Max was close behind me.

A new posting contest for August is up. Also When do you want to have the fashion contest? PM me if you think you're ready! or if you want to go shopping first for whatever.

The Result of the Theme World Team Colors are in! and the Team colors Arrrreeee...... *drum roll* *opens envelope*

This way if we are ever in a team for something We'll have Jersey colors!

Design a cool Logo for Theme World including the Team colors and mascot! and name or Initials (TW) And get a chance to win! (I'm still working on the prize...) Logo Contest

The Next contest is The Prize Contest!

Come up with a bunch of good prizes that can be given out and winner gets their choice of ALL the prizes mentioned!
Prize contest

Another contest is the Friend Contest.

Bring a bunch of friends to Theme World or the most friends (must be fairly active, on at least once a week) To Win an Award and Custom Title! Friend Contest

Best Topic Contest

Create a bunch of topics .. but make sure they are good.
People have to WANT to post in them and join in on the conversation.
You can make as many threads as you want.
The thread[s] that is/are the most active will be the winner
remember its not quantity but quality!

The Theme World Grammy awards will begin in either October or November. So be ready to nominate members!
